Wolgan Valley's 36 Heritage Villas are ideal for single guests, or couples looking for luxurious surroundings on a romantic break. Each has a private aspect, offering those it shelters stunning views of the valley beyond.

A private pool features its own deck surrounded by a garden of native plants and shrubs, and a spacious verandah adjoins it. Inside, a central, double-sided fireplace of local sandstone separates the bedroom from the lounge.

Great attention to detail has been paid to ensure the fixtures and fittings are reminiscent of the Federation period; right down to the last hinge, light switch and glass blown shade. Warm, earthy tones and thick, neutral linens, are complimented by locally-crafted wooden furniture that typifies the lodge's timeless style and elegance.

Villas feature the latest in entertainment and Internet technologies, while thoughtful extras, such as binoculars, let you get up close and personal with the wildlife without having to leave the deep-cushioned comfort of the sofa. A luxurious ensuite bathroom features twin sinks, separate shower and bath, while the indulgent Babor bathroom therapies are 100 per cent biodegradable.

Our Heritage Villas have one bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom, separate living room and a courtyard garden/deck area with private pool. Free-standing one bedroom suite with  a verandah/deck including private indoor/outdoor pool.

Wolgan Villa

There is only one Wolgan Villa and, with a total area of 4,400 square feet it is the epitome of space and luxury. A totally self-contained lodge, the Wolgan Villa is set away from the main resort, amidst a huge and richly landscaped garden with private terraces and swimming pool. This luxurious suite features two guest bedrooms, featuring one king-size and the second with split king bed. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom and dressing room. There is also a generously sized dining and living room, a gourmet kitchen and staff quarters for two people with en-suite facilities. The indoor/outdoor swimming pool gives way to a stunning private courtyard and garden.

The Country Kitchen

A providore-style casual dining room, The Country Kitchen is the perfect place to visit for light meals and snacks.
 
Lunch in the Country Kitchen can be a delicious sharing platter or antipasto, salted white bait fritter served with a crispy salad or Butternut Pumpkin with Black Cod Tortellini. All are likely choices together with seasonal daily choices from our blackboard.
 
The Country Kitchen is a relaxed eatery perfumed with the rich aromas of freshly-baked bread and house-roasted coffee. From here guests can order a gourmet picnic hamper to take out into the Wolgan Valley reserve.
 

Valley Bar and Terrace Lounge

The Valley Bar & Terrace Lounge offers an expansive verandah to enjoy during the warmer months or an open fireplace indoors when the weather turns cooler. Panoramic views across the valley frame the vibrant hues of the seasons, encouraging guests to sit back, rest and contemplate the spectacular surroundings of  Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley. 
 
Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley’s  wine list showcases over 150 different wines with an eclectic selection of Australian and international labels. A major focus is on the local regions of Mudgee, Orange and the Hunter Valley, which are producing world-class wines. Additionally, a walk-in wine cellar and cheese room featuring local cheeses is located within the Main Homestead. With its expansive plate-glass windows and open doors, the wine and cheese selection here is a very visual experience.
 

Wolgan Dining Room

With its lofty, timber-beamed ceilings and sandstone walls, The Wolgan Dining Room offers an elegant yet relaxed ambiance in which one can enjoy breakfast and dinner. This spacious restaurant opens onto a stunning verandah with panoramic valley views surrounded by steep escarpments. During the winter months, guests may enjoy their meal indoors by the hearth’s roaring fire.
 
Begin the day with a leisurely breakfast that may include freshly baked pastries, organic muesli, fruit compôtes, local jams and honey and freshly baked bread followed by your choice of a hearty cooked dish or locally produced cold cuts and cheeses.
 
In the evening, crisp linens adorn the tables while polished silver and sparkling crystal catch the day’s waning light, offering a romantic backdrop for a refined six-course menu or à la carte dinner. The Wolgan Dining Room menu changes daily and varies according to season.
